JOLON OAK (Blue Oak crossed with Valley Oak)

A Jolon Oak is a natural cross or hybrid between a Blue Oak and a Valley Oak.  The acorns were collected where the two varieties ranges overlapped. They have adorable blue leaves and the shape of the tree and leaves is a blend of the two species.  These would be faster growing than Blue Oaks and be able to handle more soil types.
